A New Look at Felix Auger-Aliassime and Wife Nina Ghaibi’s Wedding
Auger-Aliassime and Ghaibi tied the knot on Saturday, September 21, 2025, in Marrakech, Morocco. The 25-year-old tennis player and his equestrian wife celebrated this special moment in a picturesque ceremony that featured stunning floral decorations and close family members.
The wedding took place just weeks after Auger-Aliassime’s impressive run to the US Open semifinals, where he reached his first Grand Slam semifinal since 2021. The Canadian lost to Jannik Sinner in four sets but had defeated several seeded opponents, including Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev, and Alex de Minaur, during his tournament run.
New images are going viral on social media, showing intimate moments from the wedding. Ghaibi’s father can be seen taking his daughter down the aisle. In another image, the couple is seen on the stage during the vow ceremony. An Instagram post from their friend shows a very sweet moment from the wedding ceremony, where the couple can be seen kissing after the ceremony.

Nina’s sister, Cilia Ghaibi, uploaded an Instagram story from their after-party, where both sisters can be seen enjoying themselves at what appears to be a club.
Ghaibi, a professional equestrian who competes internationally for Morocco, has represented her country in 44 starts since 2017. The 25-year-old athlete was born on June 19, 2000, making her roughly two months older than her new husband.
What is Auger-Aliassime and Ghaibi’s Love Story?
The couple’s relationship began in March 2019 when they were both 18 years old. They got engaged in November 2024 during a romantic trip to the Seychelles. Auger-Aliassime proposed in what he described as a “very intimate and very private” moment.
Fellow Canadian tennis players Gabriel Diallo and Vasek Pospisil attended the wedding ceremony. Pospisil shared clips of the newlyweds at the altar on his Instagram stories.
Ghaibi comes from an athletic family with tennis connections. She is the cousin of Australian tennis star Ajla Tomljanović, who reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 32 in 2023.
The wedding planning was largely handled by Ghaibi and her family. Auger-Aliassime credited his wife for taking care of the arrangements, telling media that he “didn’t do much” beyond ensuring his suit was ready. The tennis star’s only specific request was for a “full bar” and proper hospitality for all guests.
The ceremony took place during a busy period in Auger-Aliassime’s tennis schedule. He explained that finding a suitable date was challenging due to their packed calendar, but they wanted a summer wedding.
Auger-Aliassime has spoken openly about the importance of Ghaibi’s support throughout his tennis career. He told ATPTour.com that having Ghaibi by his side through his professional journey has meant everything to him. The Canadian emphasized that she understands the demands of professional sports and provides both emotional support and practical advice.
