Canadian tennis star Félix Auger-Aliassime has posted photos from Shanghai, suggesting that it could be a potential hollywood destination. The 25-year-old recently got married to his partner, Nina, in Marrakech, Morocco.

Félix Auger-Aliassime’s Honeymoon Hint

Auger-Aliassime and his partner, Nina, got married on September 20, 2025, at the Selman Marrakech hotel in Morocco. The couple had to delay their wedding plans because of the Canadian’s remarkable run to the US Open semifinals in early September.

After their beautiful Moroccan wedding, Auger-Aliassime posted several photos on Instagram. The pictures showed him with Nina, his coach Frederic Fontang, and the couple eating at Chinese cafes and restaurants. His caption, which implied towards a honeymoon in Shanghai, read:

“Honeymoon in Shanghai? Why not.”

The Canadian will be back in action at the Shanghai Masters, which will start following the conclusion of the ongoing tournaments in Beijing and Tokyo. He is seeded 12th at the tournament and will face either Marcos Giron or a qualifier in the second round of the Master 1000 event.

What Does Auger-Aliassime’s 2025 Season Look Like So Far?

Auger-Aliassime has had a decent 2025 season so far, winning two ATP titles early in the year in Adelaide and Montpellier. The Canadian has registered 34 wins and 19 losses so far, earning over $3 million in prize money. Apart from his title wins, he also reached the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships and the semifinals of the Qatar Open.

His biggest result came at the US Open, where he reached the semifinals for the second time, having beaten the likes of Alex de Minaur and Alexander Zverev. Here, he lost to eventual runner-up Jannik Sinner. Before the New York Major, the 25-year-old also made it to the quarterfinals of the Canadian Open.

Auger-Aliassime is currently ranked 13th in the world and is working with coach Frédéric Fontang, who has been with the Canadian since 2017. Fontang was a former pro player who reached a career-high ranking of 59, helping the Canadian through different parts of his career, and was named the 2024 GPTCA Coach of the Year.

In Shanghai, Auger-Aliassime’s draw consists of the likes of 17th seed Jakub Menšík, eighth seed Lorenzo Musetti, and 26th seed Luciano Darderi. If the 25-year-old makes it out of the fourth round, his potential quarterfinal opponents include third seed Alexander Zverev, 15th seed Jiří Lehečka, and 23rd seed Denis Shapovalov.
